MusicRadar has released 703 free grime loops, a collection of sounds which originally appeared on Computer Music magazine’s cover DVD.
For this collection we’ve taken inspiration from East London, as our specialist subject is grime. Dizzee Rascal, its most famous exponent, may have diversified in recent years, but his 2003 debut Boy in da Corner was the album that helped to popularise the movement.
Since then, grime’s 2-step beats and throbbing basslines have influenced a range of styles, notably dubstep.
All samples are in 24 Bit WAV format, they are royalty free, you’re not allowed to redistribute them.
