Reusenoise's new releases consists in two packs containing one-shot WAV samples and SFZ files. For those who are not familiar with SFZ file format, these files are a collection of sample files plus one or multiple .sfz definition files. This structure, containing multiple files instead of a single file is defined as non-monolithic. SFZ files can be played with Cakewalk SFZ Player free, also with other commercial Cakewalk commercial VST instruments like Dimension LE etc.
FREE YAMAHA RBX 170 BASS MULTISAMPLES WAV + SFZ FORMAT contains one full octave of bass sounds from E to D# played with finger and plectrum. The collection is splitted in two folders: Finger Bass (12 WAV and 1 SFZ) and Picked Bass (13 WAV and 1 SFZ). You can download the files here.

Cheap Behringer Guitar Soundfont
While checking the KVR Audio forum I found this cool soundfont. Long time ago since someone released a free guitar soundfont. Here is what M Janet Mars, the autor says about it: "Hi! I recorded my good ol' cheap Behringer electric guitar and made it into a soundfont. It's not a great thing by itself, and there are some slightly detuned samples, but all in all, it works great for me. Or, at least, when I use VSTs of virtual amps, I get a better sound with this SF2 than with other ones I've got on the web; I suppose it's the tone of it, very muddy and cheap and gritty and real. No velocity mapping, because I'm lazy. It's free, public domain, simple, in glorious 19.5 MB, SF2, uncompressed". I played with it in my FL Studio, added some wah and phaser effects and I can say that is really awesome. You can download it here.
Ramjet Productions released 4 packs containing funk guitar loops in A, G, E and D keys. Each zip file contains between 13-37 individual 44khz 16 bit WAV 120 bpm loops with various guitar effects (phaser/ delay/ wah/ talk box).
