rfmusic has updated its freeware Destroyer multi-FX VST plugin for Windows to v1.1.
Destroyer is a multi-FX plugin featuring multiple effect units in one interface. The effects are: Noise gate, Drive and Distortion, Bit crusher, Pre and master filters, Equalizer, Compressor and Limiter, Flanger and Chorus, Delays and Reverb.
This suite of effects concentrated in one place, as well as the overall quality, make Destroyer a plugin useful for sound design and for everyday use. Suitable for any EDM style and perfect for hardstyle, hardcore, trap, dubstep and other “aggressive” genres.
The download package comes with an extra version with a different skin plus two preset banks (“Factory” and “Evil”), which will work on both of them.
The update brings an improved performance- now the plugin uses less CPU and RAM and loads faster, some minor GUI changes, more accurate meters, updated preset banks and some changes to the EQ unit.
Destroyer is a free plugin, but keep in mind there is also a more advanced version- Destroyer 2 (commercial), which is built upon the free version and has more FX and also FX routing capabilities.
