99Sounds returns with Kick Drum, a free collection of electronic kick drum samples in various formats.
Inside you will find 120 key labeled bass drum samples designed by 8-bit Logic, a UK based sound designer and music producer.
The kick drum samples are split into three different categories: Traditional Kicks, Subby Kicks and Minimal Kicks. Each sample is key labeled, meaning that you can easily drop it into your favorite sampler instrument and match it to your project’s key.

Kick Drum is available in WAV format, with SFZ and NKI patches for each kick sample. Examples of free plugins in which you can load these SFZ patches: Sforzando, Poise, Zampler, etc.
The NKI patches are for Native Instruments Kontakt (full version), and they’re featuring a fully customized user interface, allowing you to control various sound parameters, such as envelope attack and decay, pitch envelope amount and speed and HP/LP filter cutoff and resonance.
The samples contained in Kick Drum free collection are royalty free for use in your music and other creative projects, both free and commercial.
