Mayo Staccato – an electronic music producer and maker of sample packs – has announced the release of two sample packs, both of which are royalty free and free of cost.

The sample packs are packed with sounds he recorded and designed, slight effects being applied. They contain one shot samples suitable for a wide range of music styles, such as percussive music, hip hop, ambient, glitch hop, minimal, EDM, trap and much more.

Simply named Volume I and Volume II, the packs consist of 18 claps, 10 percussions and 9 kicks, respectively 13 adlibs, 10 clap ‘n’ snaps, 6 percussions, 7 kicks and 11 snares. The samples sound clear and convincing, some with a slight reverb; there’s enough material to work with, for example, you can create some cool organic-sounding drum beats and percussions, giltch hop patterns, atmospheres (with some processing), or even completely new samples using layering technique.

Audio demos:

All the samples are in 16-bit/44100Hz WAV format, perfectly cut, no clicks or pops, and normalized. These sounds are royalty free and are free to be used in commercial, as well as non-commercial projects.

Both sample packs are available for free download on Mediafire (via Soundcloud); registration or social share/login aren’t required. Download sizes for Volume I is 2.1MB, while Volume II is a little bigger, weighing 7.4MB.
