Ghostwave Audio has announced the release of Blueshift, a free OB-Xd soundbank featuring various sounds with a vintage feel.
OB-Xd is a freeware softsynth based on the Oberheim OB-X, attempting to recreate its sound and behavior, but with a number of things added or altered to the original design.
Here are some words on the free OB-Xd soundbank said by the author himself: “Bringing the bliss of that Oberheim sound and a very easy-to-use interface together, OB-Xd is a phenomenal free synth. I spent quite a few hours having fun with it (and even made an OB-X skin for it) and here is the result.”
Blueshift is a very diverse bank which will suit everyone in need of that warm vintage sound. It contains 64 presets royalty-free for commercial musical productions.
