Sonic Anomaly has announced the updated versions of its Bass Professor Mark II and Transpire, two free VST effect plugins for Windows platform.
Bass Professor Mark II is a sound shaping suite for a bass guitar. You can use it for changing a dull DI recorded signal into a powerful amped-like bass sound with lots of character. Bass Professor Mark II offers dynamics processing, eq and a ruff dirt/overdrive specifically suited for bass guitar.
The current version of Bass Professor Mark II comes with scalable GUI for HiDPI screens, stereo processing option and improved CPU efficiency.
Transpire is a transient processor perfect to enhance or dampen the initial attack and the sustain (body) of sound. Transpire has been designed to work well with drums and percussion – the percussive tracks will sound more steady and controlled compared to traditional transient enhancers.
With the current update, Transpire receives a scalable GUI for HiDPI screens.
