Reusenoise has released 8 Bit free pack, a free pack containing 8 Bit(?!) loops and one shot samples previously featured in an italian music contest.
These sample pack contain all the sound I made for an Italian music forum contest feel free to download and enjoy.
To me they sound like anything else but 8 Bit. The author added some ‘dirt’ trying to simulate that specific 8 Bit ‘scratch’, I think is not enough. 8 Bit samples are more than usual samples with distortion effects. But the overall product is cool and very useable.
The pack contains 4 loops, one hardkick (!) and 5 robotic vocals like game error, game over etc. All sounds are in 24 Bit :).
