Wilkinson Audio has announced that its ZomBass2, a bass guitar virtual instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt, is now available for free for a limited time.
ZomBass2 is a sample-based virtual instrument, taking the sounds of a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass with Pro-Steel strings. The sample library features four velocities of pick strength and intelligent alternate picking technique. The guitar bass was sampled down to A#0 (will pitch shift down to E).

ZomBass2 is offered as a Christmas gift, and will stay free until January 01, 2016. ZomBass2 works with full versions of Kontakt 4 (fully updated) and 5.
Getting the instrument is maybe a little difficult: first add it to cart, then at checkout, fill the Billing Details form. After this last step, you will receive a download link straight to your inbox.
