In Session Audio has announced the release of Chroma, a huge 4.5GB library for groove-based virtual instrument plugin Stylus RMX.

Chroma is based on the sound of Fluid Harmonics (another library at In Session Audio, but for Native Instruments Kontakt), and combines guitars, synths and sound design. The library allows Stylus RMX users to create beds of melodic pulses and tonal rhythms in any key and at any tempo.

Chroma has a chromatic layout, which means users can play Stylus RMX “like a keyboard” to easily combine parts and create chords. Being the first of In Session Audio’s BPM Flex series, any loop can be used at virtually any tempo without the use of artificial stretching.

Audio demos:

This library requires Spectrasonics Stylus RMX. To use the loops, place the folder titled “Chroma – In Session Audio” into Stylus RMX’s user libraries folder. On Windows, generally is C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\SAGE\SAGE Libraries\User Libraries.

Chroma is free for a limited time only. So, if you own Spectrasonics Stylus RMX, hurry up 🙂 The download requires registration (first, add the product to cart).
