Wave Alchemy has announced the release of Spectrum Demo, a free hybrid waveform synthesizer for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.
Spectrum Demo is a slimmed-down demo version of Wave Alchemy’s soon to be released Spectrum hybrid waveform synthesizer for Kontakt 5. This full version will feature 14 iconic vintage synthesizers, 10,000 samples and 175 unique patches.
At the heart of Spectrum lies a beautiful, versatile collection of synth patches; each lovingly designed from the ground up using an impressive collection of iconic analogue and digital synthesizers: Moog Minimoog Model D, Roland Juno-60, Roland Juno-106, Arp Odyssey, Korg MS-20, Roland JX8P, Moog Source, Roland Saturn 09, Roland SH-09, Moog MG-01, Korg Minikorg, Korg Poly-800, Future Retro XS and Yamaha DX5.

Spectrum Demo has some big limitations in comparison to the full version of Spectrum (to be released on June 30th), such as being limited to just 2 waveform (oscillator) slots, 12 patches and 749 samples. Delay and chorus effects are disabled, and is limited to just 1 sequencer pattern.
In order to download the freebie, (free) registration at Wave Alchemy is required. A full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5.1 (or above) is required to use Spectrum Demo.
