Daily Beats has announced the release of a sample-based standalone & VST instrument (ROMpler) with 14 instrument presets/patches.
Daily Beats VSTi contains only emulations of “real” instruments: grand piano, mono grand piano, funk guitar, guitar pinch, two harpsichords, music box, nylon guitar, steel guitar, strings, trombone section, trumpet, vibraphone and xylophone.
The design of Daily Beats VSTi is simple with preset selector (14 instrument presets), ADSR envelope and a skin selector (6 skins to choose from). Tiago Duarte, the author, says that his Daily Beats VSTi provides clean sounds with no processing, to give you more control. Also, it was designed to provide a very low CPU and RAM usage and maintaining fast load and save times.
At the core of Daily Beats VSTi are over 1.6GB of sounds. The samples were recorded at 24-bit 44.1 kHz and converted to 32-bit 44.1 kHz.
The download file contains the plugin and standalone installers, plus the soundbank installer. At the moment, there are 32 and 64-bit, VST2 & VST3 versions for Windows only. If you want to bypass the DAW, a standalone version can also be installed/used.
In order to download the freebie, registration is required at Daily Beats.
