Pulseha has announced the launch of the Free Toy Upright Piano, a free instrument for NI Kontakt.
The interface is very well designed, intuitive and with a modern look. In the center, there is a stylized piano, it’s just a static image as a presentation.
Moving to the bottom, here we see all the controls. Thus, from left to right we find a low and high band equalizer, but also a knob called “twinkle” that makes the sound more vibrant and full. The second module is a sound envelope just with attack and decay, perfect to set how steep or short the sound is. Going further, we find the stereo width (at 0 is mono) along with a button that sets the background noise with piano key clicks. The last module is a reverb with 11 chambers and spaces and an amount knob.
Free Toy Upright Piano will work only with a full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.6.6 or higher) because the free Player is not supported. If you’re looking for a simple and fun to use upright piano, then grab this little gem.
