Sonus Instruments has announced the release of Eight-Ohh-Tape, a free sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

So what are you waiting for, do you want us to give you the spiel about how we gathered our collective 808 samples together? We poured a dram of fine whiskey each and decided whos 808 was the best. Then loaded them up into Pro Tools and slammed them through a Studer A-820 2-inch tape machine to offer you three flavors, normal, 30ips or 7.5ips, then packed them into our #foundryfriday drum machine skin and packaged them up for you to enjoy, then don’t. Grab a copy now. It’s free.

Features:

  • 49 Mono samples at 24bit 48kHz
  • includes kick, snare, 3 toms, 2 hats, various percussion, and clap.
  • each sample has also been recorded at 30 and 7.5 inches per second on 2-inch analog Studer A820 Vintage Tape Machine
  • under 11MB download size

Eight-Ohh-Tape requires Native Instruments Kontakt full version 5.8 or above.
