Touch Loops has announced the release of Tuned Percussion, a free sample library for Kontakt, plus extra sampler instruments for Logic X (EXS24) and Ableton Live Sampler.
These sampler instruments were sourced from a toy Marimba, and among other things, you can use them to add some organic tuned percussion into your mix. They come in 3 unique styles: “Dry” (untouched recordings), “Ghost” – reverb-heavy for lush and ambient scores, and “Grain”, where the sounds evolve and twist as the samples overlap.
Tuned Percussion requires a full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (free Kontakt Player isn’t supported, it will work in demo mode). Download requires adding to cart and checkout.
