PulseSetter Sounds has announced the release of Reverxis, a free sample library aimed at cinematic producers and featuring over 80 patches for Native Instruments Kontakt.
As the name might suggest, Reverxis is about reversed sounds. It brings a unique set of guitar instruments perfect for adding texture and pulsating sounds. Each guitar loop was played, edited and manipulated to end up in reverse. A total of 40 reverse loops that are mapped across the keyboard, lets you play reverse pulsating chords, melody lines or simple one notes for a modern tension inducing score. There are also some cinematic pads and plucks which also contains reverse samples, again, mapped in a way they can be performed.
Reverxis requires a full version of Native Instrument Kontakt (the free Player isn’t supported). It can be used in cinematic productions, film & video games, sound design, etc.
